SpiritedAway is a very simple application. It is running in the background. And it's checking each running application's activity. If an application isn't active for a certain fixed period, SpiritedAway hides the application automatically. After releasing Snow Leopard, I had many requests from SpiritedAway users to support Snow Leopard. So, I update it with small changes.

These changes are

• Support Snow Leopard as 64bit application.
• Improve performance and accurate hiding the applications.
• Introduce Hotkey to active/inactive it. (command+option+H)
• Introduce AutoUpdate functionality via Sparkle.
• A bit organize UIs.

Honestly, I haven't used it myself recently. At this time, I realized it's still very useful. I added it to login item again. :-) Also Hotkey improves useful of it very much!!! Please try it again.

SpiritedAwayのSnow Leopard対応版をリリースしました。SpritedAwayは、一定時間アクティブにならなかったアプリケーションを自動的に隠すだけのシンプルなアプリケーションですが、一部愛用者が多くSnow Leopardで動かなくなった為、たくさんのリクエストを頂き、重い腰を上げて、数年ぶりにアップデートしてみました。折角の機会なので、いくつか細かい変更をしています。

主な変更点は

• 64bitアプリケーションとしてSnow Leopardに対応
• パフォーマンスの向上と、より隠す精度を向上
• ホットキー(Command+Option+H)で一時的に隠す機能を有効/無効にできます。
• Sparkleによる自動アップデート機能
• 細かなUI変更

です。最近自分でもSpiritedAway使ってなかったんですが、この機会に、久々に使ってみて、改めて、便利さを実感しました。特にホットキーは、劇的に使い勝手を向上させたのではないかと思ってます。過去に使ったことある人も、ぜひ今一度試してみてください！
