Keep the performance at nexus one
Androidの利点であり、弱点でもあるマルチタスク。nexus oneの登場で、リソースが増えた事で、かなりデメリットは解消され、メリットが強調されるようになりましたが、それでも、長時間利用してると、アプリケーションが大量に立ち上がって、パフォーマンスが悪化したり、必要以上にバッテリーを消費する事があります。
As you know, The multitask capability is one of strong Android's advantage. But it will become sometimes a disadvantage as well. From nexus one, I don't almost notice this function as the demerit but If I'm using it for long time with running many applications at once. The multitasking is obviously draining the performance and battery life.
そんな時、頼りになるのが、このガチャピンみたいなアイコンのアプリ「Advanced Task Killer」です。
使い方は、至ってシンプル。ガチャピンクリックして、起動すると、起動中のアプリケーション一覧が表示されるので、KILL selected appsをクリックするだけ。これだけで、アプリケーションが一括終了されます。もちろん、チェックボックスを外せば、終了したくないアプリケーションが指定できますが、Androidは、システムの操作上、アプリケーションの終了と言う概念はなく、メモリなどが少なくなったら、いつアプリケーションが殺されても良いように、アプリ開発者側が、担保してプログラムしなければいけないので、気軽にKillしても、特に不具合なく、必要なアプリは、勝手にまた立ち上がります。
ということで、最近は、ふと気がつくと、このアプリを起動して、プロセスの掃除をしてますが、おかげで、一層快適に動作するようになりました。マーケットで、この手のアプリを探すと、似たようなアプリが沢山出てきますが、現状、これが一番人気っぽく、実際、使い勝手も良かったので気に入ってますが、もっと良いメンテナンスアプリがあればぜひ教えてください！
Recently, I found very useful application named "Advanced Task Killer".
It's relly simple application. When you run it, you can see the application list which indicates the running applications at that time. When you click "KILL selected apps" button, you can sweep all running applications at once. Basically, Android applications have to handle a sudden termination itself. So, If the application have to run backgroundly, it will startup itself again.
Since I start to use this application, I have been keeping a performance. I can watch many similar applications in the market. If you find more useful application, please let me know!
