Get Droid from Google I/O 2010
Today, I have received Droid which is provided to all attendee of Google I/0 2010. I just open it right now . And trying to blog my initial impression with many photos.
The package is really simple and small.
The equipments are also minimum(enough). I get one more micro USB charger :-)
The wight is slightly heavier than Nexus one or Xperia X10. But Droid has hardware keyboard!
For activation, Initial activation program automatically make a phone call to automatic voice center(without any voice communication). After a while, I have notified about updating Andrid2.1. The updater is only about 15MB. I easily succeeded to upgrade to Android2.1 without a time is taking a picture.
I have many Android Phone(Nexus One, Xperia X10, Android G1 and G2) already. But this is a first android device with hardware keyboard with large display. The processor frequency seems 550MHz that is almost half of Nexus One or X10. But My first impression that it is working fine. It is really difficult to select my primary phone recently :-P
