comictize - create optimized PDF for eBook -

At my previous post, I introduced you my script to create an optimized PDF from a PDF for an eBook reader/iPhone device. This time, I would also like to introduce you yet another script that is create an optimized PDF from Images under the Folder.
(before optimization)
If you want to create a PDF from multiple image files, comictize script will help you.
(after optimization)
Basically comictize also do same optimizations that are resize, crop and etc. at ebooktize. But it can create an optimize PDF from multiple images under the folder.
When you double click comictize, Automator will be running. Let you click Run button then you can select the folder that is included multiple images. The optimized PDF pages are sorted by original images name. So you should sort original images before you run comictize.
Advanced usage
You can show like ↑ above window when you run comictize. You can customize a crop margin and a contrast from here. Please modify it in order to your content.
P.S.
At this time, I found a better way to optimize it than previous ebooktize. So, I updated ebooktize script as well. Please re-download ebooktize if you have been already using it before.

前のポストでebooktizeというeBook/iPhoneに最適化したPDFを作成するスクリプトを紹介しましたが、それの派生系で、複数画像ファイルから、最適化したPDFを作成するスクリプトもつくってみました。
(最適化前)
名付けてcomictize。ebooktizeは、PDFから最適化PDFを作成しましたが、comictizeは複数の画像ファイルから、PDFを作成する時に役立ちます。
(最適化後)
comictizeスクリプトをダウンロードして、ダブルクリックすると、Automatorが起動するので、右上の実行ボタンを押し、最適化したい画像が含まれているフォルダを指定するだけで、デスクトップに最適化されたPDFファイルが保存されます。PDF化されたときの、ページ順序は、画像の名前順で決まるので、最適化を開始する前に、ページ順に名前を揃えておいてください。
アドバンスオプション
comictize実行時に↑のようなウインドウが表示されますが、ここで、切り取り範囲とコントラストを調整できます。素材となる画像に合わせて、調整すると、より、美しいPDFが作成できます。
また、今回試行錯誤するにあたり発見した、より良いアルゴリズムを、前回紹介したebooktizeにも導入して更新してありますので、ebooktizeユーザーの方は、そちらもダウンロードし直すことをオススメします。
